METRO SERVICES CONTROLLED AS FOREIGN PARTICLE FALLS on THE THIRD RAIL
Kolkata, 6th December, 2023:
A foreign particle had fallen on the 3rd rail beside the UP line at Esplanade station at 12.59 hrs today. As a precautionary measure, next UP train was controlled at Maidan station. Metro staff immediately attended the spot and removed it at 13:08 hrs. Regulation of service on the UP line was withdrawn at 13:09 hrs. Investigation is on to find the cause of it.
